Product Description
Radial ProMS2 Passive Microphone Splitter with Eclipse ET-MS10 Transformer and 30dB Switchable Pad on Input
The ProMS2 is a mic splitter designed to split a single source to multiple destinations simultaneously without signal degradation or noise. A high quality Eclipse transformer inside provides galvanic isolation to eliminate hum and buzz from ground loops.
While delivering a wide frequency response and low distortion. Ground lifts on the outputs help further reduce noise, while an input pad allows line-level sources to be connected as well. The ProMS2 can be rack mounted for touring and installation purposes, with up to eight fitting in the Radial J-Rak.
Harnessing the full potential of an Eclipse ET-MS10 transformer, Radial's passive ProMS2 delivers professional-grade clarity for microphone splitting. Its nickel-laminated core lies at the heart of the ET-MS10 transformer's ultra-low harmonic distortion while suppressing phase shift and removing bandwidth limitations.
You'd get from budget mic splitters. In fact, we're talking about 115dB of common-mode noise rejection backed by a Mumetal- shield in one of Radial Engineering's freakishly tough steel enclosures. The ProMS2 rejects RFI, EMI, DC line noise, and ground-loop hum with heroic efficiency. If you're setting up a whole bank of mic splitters, then Sweetwater has what you need. Radial Engineering ProMS2 Passive Microphone Splitter Features:
- Passive microphone splitter with 2 through and 1 isolated output
- Ideal for splitting a single microphone to 3 destinations (e.g., main, monitor, and broadcast mixers)
- Also great for splitting 1 microphone to 2 destinations (e.g., A/Bing mic preamps)
- 100% discrete signal path provides the highest possible sound quality
- Premium Eclipse ET-MS10 transformer eliminates distortion at all frequencies
- Greater than 115dB of common-mode rejection for superior DC line and ground loop hum noise elimination
- Individual ground lifts further reduce the possibility of ground-loop noise
- Integral MuMETAL shielding and steel enclosure shield against magnetic field interference and RF noise
- Includes -30dB pad to accommodate consumer line-level sources without overloading preamps
- Radial's legendary build quality includes I-beam-style structure and 14-gauge steel construction
- Fits in Radial's 4-slot J-Rak 4 and 8-slot J-Rak 8 x 19" rackmount chassis
